Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has released two major Star Wars titles just in time for the holidays. On December 3, The Mandalorian Season 3 and Ahsoka Season 1 hit the shelves in 4K Ultra HD Steelbook editions.
These two sets, part of the Lucasfilm Collector’s Editions series, feature stunning 4K Ultra HD with Dolby Vision and Atmos audio. Both come in glossy SteelBook cases, each with eye-catching artwork by illustrator Attila Szarka.

Special effects experts Peter Clarke and Rick Galinson from Legacy Effects—who have worked on films that earned them Academy Award and Emmy nominations—talk about the creation of Gorian Shard, the “topiary-headed pirate king.”
Clarke shares how making Shard was a unique challenge, saying, ‘I’ve made things with hair, I’ve made things with skin, but I’ve never made anything that was covered with plants.’ The animatronic character features tentacles and complex movements, adding a new layer of realism to the show.
