Everyone is aware by now that Disney is making a live-action version of ‘Snow White,’ directed by Marc Webb. The film is based on Disney’s 1937 animated movie, which was inspired by the Brothers Grimm’s 1812 fairy tale.

Rachel Zegler stars as Snow White, and Gal Gadot plays the Evil Queen. The movie was first announced in 2016, with filming happening in London from March to July 2022. The film is set to be released in theaters on March 21, 2025.

Despite the movie being fraught with a lot of controversies so far, it’s still one of the most anticipated Disney movies. Now Disney has released a new trailer showcasing yet another look at the movie:

Filming for ‘Snow White’ was initially set to start in March 2020 but was delayed to July due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In August 2021, it was announced that filming would take place in the UK from March to July 2022. Filming began on March 7, 2022, but a fire damaged the set on March 15.

Thankfully, no filming was underway at the time. Rachel Zegler’s schedule was adjusted so she could attend the Academy Awards in March, while Gal Gadot filmed her scenes. Gadot later shared that she enjoyed playing the Evil Queen and appreciated the chance to make her character more dramatic in the musical.

Filming wrapped in July 2022, with additional filming planned for June 2024. The movie’s release date has been delayed several times, with the current date set at March 21, 2025.
