As excitement builds for the second season of Netflix’s live-action ‘One Piece‘, a recent behind-the-scenes video has provided fans a sneak peek at one of the upcoming villains.

David Dastmalchian, known for his work in ‘The Dark Knight’ and ‘Dune’, is stepping into the shoes of Mr. 3, a notable member of Baroqueworks.

This glimpse was not of Dastmalchian himself but rather a statue showcasing what his character would look like, giving fans a taste of the faithful adaptation of his unique hairstyle and look.

Dastmalchian’s involvement in ‘One Piece’ adds to his rich portfolio of roles that blend his love for pop culture and serious acting chops.

He recently led ‘Late Night With The Devil’, a critically acclaimed horror film where he played a late-night TV host confronting a supernatural horror.

His new role as Mr. 3 promises to bring a complex villain to life, challenging the Straw Hat Pirates with his unique Devil Fruit powers that allow him to manipulate candle wax—a seemingly innocuous ability that spells danger for anyone who underestimates it.

In the upcoming season, the Straw Hats will navigate through adventures in locales like Little Garden, encountering giants and other Baroqueworks members before reaching the desert island of Alabasta.

Mr. 3 is one of the major antagonists they will face, using his powers to create formidable challenges for Luffy and his crew.

Additional characters eagerly awaited by the audience, including Crocodile, Nico Robin, and Tony Tony Chopper, are set to make their debut in this thrilling continuation.

We’re keeping our ears to the ground and will bring you updates as soon as Netflix provides more insights into these exciting new additions to the Grand Line.
