Agatha All Along recently aired its last two episodes, finishing some character arcs while teasing future storylines. The show was originally planned as a miniseries with a set number of episodes, like other MCU Disney+ shows.

Marvel’s Head of TV and Streaming, Brad Winderbaum, recently confirmed that the show has been successful, and he’s excited to explore more stories about Westview and its people. With awards season underway, Agatha All Along has earned several nominations, including Patti LuPone for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series at the 2024 Critics’ Choice Television Awards.

The 2025 Independent Spirit Awards also nominated Kathryn Hahn, Joe Locke, and Patti LuPone for Best Lead Performance, Best Breakthrough Performance, and Best Supporting Performance in a New Scripted Series.

At the 2025 Saturn Awards, Agatha All Along is nominated for Best Superhero Television Series, with Kathryn Hahn, Aubrey Plaza, and Joe Locke up for Best Actress, Best Guest Star, and Best Younger Performer in a Television Series.

This success has made fans hopeful for more Agatha All Along content. The show ended in a way that suggested more stories for the main cast, including Hahn’s Agatha, Locke’s Billy, and Plaza’s Lady Death.

Now, with all these nominations, the official Marvel Studios account has been seen hiding replies suggesting that the show will get a season 2.

Keep in mind that this doesn’t confirm anything, and it could just be a case of over-moderating to prevent rumors about the show. But with some recent hints, there may be more to this than it seems.

Disney+ has chosen to submit Agatha All Along in the comedy category for upcoming awards like the Golden Globes, SAG Awards, and Emmys, instead of the “limited series” category.

This decision could suggest that the show isn’t finished yet, and based on the strong fan response, the studio may have decided to rethink the show’s future.

While Disney+ usually makes limited series, shows like Loki, X-Men ’97, and What If…? have all gotten multiple seasons. Daredevil: Born Again was even renewed for a second season before its first season came out, so we’re definitely hopeful!
