Hayden Christensen Reveals Exciting Update About His ‘Star Wars’ Future

Hayden Christensen became a proper star when he portrayed the adolescent Anakin Skywalker in the Prequel Trilogy, an Anakin just before his horrendous transformation into Darth Vader. The role brought him global fame and while a lot of fans were originally very antagonistic towards him, time has done a good job in this case.

Christensen is now one of the most adored Prequel Trilogy characters and his recent return to Ahsoka streaming series was welcomed by fans, as it was an epic return that provided us with some memorable scenes, as well as some in-depth character analysis.

Since then, the fans have been demanding Christensen’s return to the franchise. Star Wars is in a sort of limbo right now so the future of many projects is uncertain, but there is a lot of potential for Christensen to come back and it seems that an announcement is imminent.

Just to warn you here, the piece of news we have is nothing official, but rather a comment made by Christensen himself in response to a question, something that has been shared on social media and that is more or less it. So, while this is certainly a welcome rumor, we advise you to take it with a grain of salt:

This is, as you can see, the only source for the rumor we have and this is not the most in-depth source of information we have. Based on what we know, though, it seems that Lucasfilm is working on another project that would reunite Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan Kenobi and Christensen as Anakin/Darth Vader.

The ending of the Obi-Wan series was an open one, which means that there is a lot of potential for a second season there, but it could also be a completely new project that would bring back the two actors together, as there is a lot to explore as far as the relationship between Anakin and Obi-Wan is concerned. A second season of Kenobi has been hinted at for some time now and while we’re still going to have to wait for an official confirmation, this is certainly reassuring.
