Bandai Namco has brought back ‘Sword Art Online Variant Showdown’ for mobile devices. The game was offline for maintenance since September 2023 to fix various issues. Now, it’s available again with improvements.

If you played before, you can get your old game data back. Just use your Bandai Namco ID and follow the account transfer steps. New players can start fresh and enjoy the game from the beginning.

In this game, you join Kirito and his friends in a virtual reality action world. A new character named Layla is also part of the story. Together, you explore the game ‘Cross Edge’ to uncover its secrets.

The battles are exciting. Each character has special Sword Skills. You can switch between attacking and defending easily with simple tap controls. Keeping your combo going lets you deal more damage to bosses.

You can team up with two other players to fight strong bosses in Multi-Battles. The toughest bosses are at the Extra difficulty level. Improving your characters helps you rank higher on the Monument of Swordsmen.

Collecting armor is important. You get armor from events and boss battles. Harder challenges give better armor. With strong armor, you can face even tougher enemies.
