Sydney Sweeney is one of the most popular young actresses today. The actress first gained attention in 2018 with roles in ‘Everything Sucks!,’ ‘The Handmaid’s Tale,’ and ‘Sharp Objects.’ In 2019, she became widely recognized for her role in HBO’s ‘Euphoria’ and ‘The White Lotus,’ earning two Primetime Emmy nominations.

In 2023, she starred in ‘Reality’ and ‘Anyone but You,’ and in 2024, she appeared in ‘Madame Web’ and produced and starred in ‘Immaculate.’ As you can see, her schedule is busy and it will continue to be busy.

Sweeney’s trademark is her sex appeal which she is not afraid to use to her advantage. Due to that, she is often attacked online by “fans” and surprisingly, by some higher-ups in Hollywood such as her recent “feud” with producer Carol Baum.

Sweeney is slated to portray famous boxer Christy Martin in the upcoming biopic, and due to this, she is undergoing extensive physical training. Recently Sweeney posted some images from the set, and of her new form which surprised fans.

Sweney was described as overweight in the comments, as being “mid,” and “not that attractive” among a plethora of other descriptors. The actress decided to respond to fans by uploading a video of her working out:

This is the perfect way to shut down body shaming comments, as Sweeney proved she is actually in her peak form. The actress recently commented on her upcoming role and revealed how intensive the preparations are:

“I grappled and did kickboxing from 12-19 years old. I’ve been itching to get back into the ring, train, and transform my body. Christy’s story isn’t a light one, it’s physically and emotionally demanding, there’s a lot of weight to carry. But I love challenging myself.”

Everyone who follows Sweeney’s work seems to be thrilled about the upcoming project, and it seems that the sports drama genre is going to get another great movie quite soon.
