‘Squid Game’ Director Reveals Which Marvel Hero Would Win the Deadly Competition

Squid Game is one of the most popular Netflix shows, and with season 2 coming soon, it’s back in the spotlight. In Squid Game, players take part in deadly versions of children’s games for a chance to win a huge cash prize.

The games include challenges like “Red Light, Green Light,” tug of war, and marbles, with losers facing violent eliminations, exploring how far people will go to survive and the risks of extreme competition.

This deadly contest idea could easily work in other stories, like the MCU, where iconic characters could face off in such a challenge.

Hwang Dong-hyuk, the director of Squid Game, believes Tony Stark would have the best chance of winning the deadly competition, even without his suit, thanks to his intelligence.

Iron Man is smart, but he could face tough competition from Professor Hulk and Reed Richards, who will appear in Fantastic Four: First Steps played by Pedro Pascal.

Hwang Dong-hyuk says season 2 will include new games, some of which were ideas he had for season 1. He also says he’d do well in the honeycomb challenge, using a trick from season 1 where licking the honeycomb makes it easier to remove the shape.

There were some [games] left over from the list of games that I had thought of for season 1. So at least for season 2, it wasn’t as hard to come up with the new games.
