‘Heartbreak High’ Actor Joins the ‘Scream 7’ Cast

Exciting news for ‘Scream’ series fans as Sam Rechner, known for his role in ‘The Fabelmans,’ and ‘Heartbreak High’ is confirmed by Deadline to join the upcoming ‘Scream 7’.

While the details about his character remain under wraps, his addition to the Spyglass sequel hints at an intriguing lineup.

Sam, who captured attention as Logan Hall, the high school antagonist in Steven Spielberg’s ‘The Fabelmans’, as well as Rowan Callaghan in ‘Heartbreak High’ will be part of a cast that includes notable names like Neve Campbell, reprising her iconic role as Sidney Prescott.

Alongside her, Celeste O’Connor and Mckenna Grace, both from ‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife’, will also star, with Grace returning from ‘Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire’.

The ensemble is rounded out by Asa Germann and Isabel May, with May set to play Sidney’s daughter in a plot focusing more on her family this time around.

The movie, directed by original ‘Scream’ writer Kevin Williamson, is set to bring back Courteney Cox as Gale Weathers, though her return hasn’t been officially confirmed yet.

We can expect more thrilling and chilling moments as the movie slashes into theaters on February 27, 2026.
