As far as Spider-Man is concerned, everyone knows that the character is Marvel’s biggest asset. He is the most popular comic book character of all time, so it doesn’t come as a surprise that Marvel is building on the character as much as they can, including new comic book stories, new movies, and new animated series.

One of the series we know is coming soon is the animated series Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, which will be animated in the style of old comics and will bring a fresh new perspective on the character, as well as new cast members; in the series, Tom Holland will be replaced by Hudson Thames.

You might remember that we reported – earlier this year – that the series would premiere in late 2024, in November, to be precise, but it seems that it won’t be the case.

Namely, a new and trusted rumor mill claims that the series has been pushed back to 2025, which is not a long delay, but fans of the franchise will still be disappointed.

The original source, which listed the November 2024 release date, the site Nic Gregory, still has that same release date, but it could be false or not updated, as we have conjectured back then. This comes in light of the following rumor:

Of course, fans needn’t be worried about the future of the show, as it is going to air – this is not a problem really, but probably a decision inspired by scheduling changes or some extra post-production work – just not now, but a bit later.

As the guys at Cosmic Circus, we hope that the wait won’t be too long. As for the fans, here is how they reacted to the news:
