Fans of twisted fairy tales have something new to look forward to with the release of ‘Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare,’ brought to us by Jagged Edge Productions and ITN Studios.

This film is a dark departure from the beloved tales of our childhood, featuring a sinister version of Peter Pan that’s sure to unsettle you.

In this new horror twist, Peter Pan transforms from the whimsical boy who never wanted to grow up into a terrifying figure.

The plot centers around the Darling family, who find themselves in a nightmarish scenario when the youngest son, Michael, is kidnapped by Peter.

The film veers away from the adventurous trips to Neverland and instead throws Wendy and her siblings into a desperate struggle with their childhood hero-turned-villain.

The sneak peek provided by Collider just in time for the first day of ticket sales shows a scene that sets the tone for this horror story.

We see Wendy Darling, portrayed by Megan Placito, panicking after a disturbing phone call. Her mother, Mary, played by Teresa Banham, fiercely tries to protect her children from the eerie voice of Peter Pan, chillingly brought to life by Martin Portlock.

The setting revealed in the trailer is far from the enchanting world we remember: instead of a magical treehouse, Peter is shown in a dark room surrounded by unsettling items like an overflowing ashtray and drug paraphernalia.

Other familiar characters from J.M. Barrie’s original creation also make appearances in new, dark roles. Tinkerbell, Captain Hook, and Tiger Lily, played by Kit Green, Charity Kase, and Olumide Olorunfemi respectively, are all part of this grim retelling that promises to upend any nostalgic memories of Neverland.

Following the footsteps of ‘Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey’ and its sequel, this film is the latest in a series that reimagines classic stories with a horrific twist.

With tickets now on sale for its limited theatrical run from January 13 to January 15, ‘Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare’ is gearing up to be a must-watch for fans of the horror genre and dark fairy tales alike.
