Insider Provides Us With a Theory About the MCU’s Mutant Plans

Join us on Reddit for the latest Marvel & DC news!
After Disney’s acquisition of Fox, everyone knew that the Mutants, including the X-Men, would be coming to the MCU. While Deadpool & Wolverine helped somewhat in that integration, and Mutants have already been seen in the MCU, everyone’s waiting for the proper integration of these extremely important characters into the MCU, which – as everyone promises – is going to be epic!
Sadly, at this moment, we don’t know much. It seems that Feige is currently focused on the Fantastic Four and while we’re certain that the heads of Marvel Studios are simultaneously working on the Mutants as well, we don’t have any official information yet.
This, of course, means that the theory and rumor mills are working hard, and once every now and then, we get new theories and rumors about Marvel’s plans with the Mutants. In this report, we are going to focus on one intriguing rumor by an industry insider, and if you want to know more – keep reading!
The rumors/theories we have come from Christopher Marc, an entertainment journalist and writer who works in different fields and aspects of the entertainment industry, bringing news as well as rumors. Here is what he is saying about Marvel’s plans related to the mutants:
DEPARTMENT OF DAMAGE CONTROL in the MCU will most likely go after and detain dangerous mutants. They've already planted seeds for their version of the Sentinel Program in MS. MARVEL. #XMen

Knowing how important world-building is for Marvel, the fact that Ms. Marvel has already set up something that could be used later is definitely great for the MCU.
It would be something similar to what we’ve already seen in an X-Men movie, as you probably remember, but the MCU would definitely give it a proper twist. So, what are the fans saying about this theory? Here are some of their comments:
Please marvel…don't do the sentinel program bases on Stark drones from FFH 😅

They need to move on from department of damage control. It’s lame and wordy

I'm starting to get the feeling that Ross and the US government aren't going to be exactly friendly to the idea of mutants. Even though Ross is now a mutate (mutant through technology).

As you can see, the fans don’t really want to go down this line and while we’ve said that it was interesting, it is also a fact that we’ve seen something similar and the fans simply don’t want a copy of that; they want the Mutants to get their own, proper and original story, and we hope that Marvel delivers.
