‘Captain America: Brave New World’ is the next movie in the MCU that we can expect. It is set to hit theaters on February 14, 2025, but early screenings have reportedly received bad reviews.

This will be Sam Wilson’s first solo film as Captain America, and Thaddeus Ross will appear as Red Hulk, as shown in the trailers.

Red Hulk is one of the most well-known versions of the Hulk in Marvel Comics, so it’s no surprise that his introduction to the MCU is causing a lot of excitement. While not much is known about Red Hulk right now, it appears that merchandise for the movie has revealed a key detail about how Red Hulk was created.

The box description on Instagram stated that Red Hulk is a “monster of Samuel Sterns’ making,” whose skin emits intense heat and burns anything it touches. Red Hulk’s comic-accurate fire powers were also confirmed via toys:

‘Captain America: Brave New World’ is linked to Sterns’ second live-action project in the MCU. He was a cellular biologist and professor at Grayburn College, working to find a cure for Bruce Banner’s condition.

He created a temporary antidote for Banner but accidentally turned Emil Blonsky into the Abomination. When Sterns was exposed to Banner’s blood, his mental powers grew quickly because of a mutation. Natasha Romanoff stepped in and captured him, taking him to S.H.I.E.L.D. for safekeeping.

Tim Blake Nelson has also been confirmed to return to his role. This isn’t the first time a merchandise leak has revealed something about ‘Captain America: Brave New World.’ A few months ago, a McDonald’s toy leaked that Diamondback would be in the movie and showed her comic-accurate costume.
