Here Are the Top 10 Strongest MCU Avengers According to their Comic Book Stats

Ranker is a popular place on the Internet where people can rank whatever they want, however, they want, and whenever they want. This is always a fan-focused ranking system, and it is never officially tied to the people behind the projects in question.

Recently, a very interesting list was presented on Ranker, showing the strongest MCU Avengers based on their comic book stats. The list includes a bunch of characters, but in our report, we have decided to list the top ten characters from the site to provide you with better insight, combined with our original comments and opinions. Unlike other lists, this one will not be based on fan votes, but rather on the official numbers listed on the site.

Of course, since this is indeed an important list, we have decided to report on it, so we are going to bring you the results by listing the top 10 characters on this list, from 10th to first place. We hope you’ll enjoy it!

10. Black Panther

From our perspective, Black Panther makes sense as the 10th hero on this list. He is strong enough to make it into the top 10, definitely, but he is not as strong as the strongest heroes on this list. The comic book stats were, thus, accurately translated into the MCU movies, and this is a listing that we can definitely agree with based on everything we know about T’Challa in the MCU.

9. Captain America

Captain America is a character who has a lot of power and his comic book stats prove it. He was an exceptionally important member of the Avengers in the MCU and based on all the data we have, this is a pretty accurate depiction if we are to compare him with the comic book stats. Like in the case of Black Panther, this is also a ranking and listing that we completely agree with.

8. Spider-Man

Spider-Man is a character who is capable of a lot in the comics. There are several iterations of the character, and Spider-Man has definitely proven his worth in terms of his powers and abilities. Tom Holland’s Spider-Man is not that strong, though, and seeing everything we’ve seen in the MCU, we wouldn’t really rank him as the comics do. This is the first non-accurate listing, in our opinion.

7. Vision

As for Vision, he is much more powerful in the comics, but even the MCU has shown us that he is a proper powerhouse. He managed to stand his ground against Thanos and that is enough for us to actually respect him in the MCU. Whether the powers he demonstrated in the MCU are enough for this place is debatable, but he definitely deserves to be in the top 10.

6. Captain Marvel

Captain Marvel was among those characters who were bulked up for the MCU. Okay, sure, she is extremely powerful in the comics as well, but for a while, she was one of the strongest MCU superheroes, as was said in the stories. She definitely does deserve to be on this list, and we would even give her a higher ranking than the one she has based on the comic book stats.

5. Iron Man

Iron Man is a character who has done so much for the MCU, and there is no denying that. He was powerful, and his intelligence helped the Avengers on more than one occasion; plus, he is the one who sacrificed himself to save the world in Endgame. Is he the fifth strongest in the MCU? Probably not (Captain Marvel is, for starters, stronger than him in the movies), but he does deserve to be in the top 10, without a doubt.

4. Doctor Strange

Doctor Strange being in the top five makes absolute sense. His powers are amazing, and we can definitely agree that he is one of the most powerful Avengers. In fact, he has proven himself so powerful and so capable that we’d even put him in third place, in front of Wanda, as he was able to prove that he can win against her in a fight, which should be enough for the third spot.

3. Scarlet Witch

As for Wanda, she was initially underestimated, but throughout the franchise, we have seen just how powerful she is and just how dangerous she can be. Her magic was powerful enough to create whole realities and her powers were so high that it was difficult to stop her. But, in light of what we’ve said about Doctor Strange, we’d actually give Wanda the fourth spot on this list.

2. Thor

Based on everything we’ve seen in the movies, Thor should be number one on this list. While this is not the comic book version of the character either (as he has more space to grow), when compared to everyone else, Thor is the one that should be in the first place, as he has shown his power and strength on more than one occasion, surpassing the levels of all the other Avengers more than once.

1. Hulk

If we were to consider the comic book data exclusively, yes, the Hulk would be first. But the Mark Ruffalo version of the character from the MCU is not that powerful and while traces of Hulk’s power have been shown in the series, there is really no doubt that he is not at his best. This is why we wouldn’t really give him the top spot, although he deserves to be in the top 10.
