Captain America: Brave New World is one of the most exciting upcoming MCU movies. It will feature Sam Wilson becoming Captain America in his first solo film and facing off against Thaddeus Ross’ Red Hulk.

One of the key things about the movie’s production is that it had to do a lot of extra reshoots, spending a lot of time and money on them.

Some earlier reports mentioned that the movie didn’t get a good reaction from test audiences. The reasons given were weak action, a boring story, unclear political messages, and poor chemistry between Anthony Mackie and his romantic interest.

Later reports said that the reshoots added $100 million to the movie’s budget, suggesting they were a major part of the production.

After the first trailer was released, fans also felt that the movie seemed more like a Hulk film than a Captain America movie, especially with the villains confirmed to appear. It’s worth noting that a standalone Hulk movie probably won’t happen anytime soon, as Mark Ruffalo confirmed.

The reason Hulk can’t have his own solo movie is because of complicated rights issues, even though he can appear in other films. This has led to rumors about a project that might loosely adapt the World War Hulk storyline. So, how is this linked to Captain America 4?

We don’t have official confirmation, only rumors, but recently, the entire plot of Captain America: Brave New World was said to have leaked online. One surprising character revealed is Amadeus Cho, played by Logan Kim.

Amadeus Cho would become the MCU’s fourth Hulk, joining Bruce Banner, She-Hulk, and Thaddeus Ross’ Red Hulk. There’s also the issue of adamantium and other powerful beings trying to control its power.

A few months ago, Alex Perez from Cosmic Circus shared an interesting theory.

According to Perez, the studio has been building a “World War” storyline across several projects like Spider-Man: Far From Home, WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Black Widow, Eternals, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and Secret Invasion.

This storyline focuses on the world’s growing concerns about the rising number of superheroes since Endgame. With no Avengers around, countries are rushing to create their own superpowered soldiers or teams for protection.

For example, France secretly tried to get vibranium from Wakanda, the U.S. made secret moves, and the Department of Damage Control has been dealing with superhuman events. This storyline will build up in movies like Captain America: Brave New World, where nations push their superhuman plans, including creating Hulks.

With adamantium and the fallen Celestial playing a big role in the next movie, and several Hulks in the MCU, it sets the stage for World War Hulk to finally happen.

The latest rumors suggest that the big reshoots were done to help set up World War Hulk.

If this is true, Marvel Studios is building a story where Bruce Banner faces his biggest fears as different governments create their own Hulks. This could lead to the return of the Savage Hulk and a final battle between Banner and another Hulk, which may be introduced soon.
