In a recent interview with Omelete, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige expressed a strong interest in bringing Miles Morales into the live-action Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
According to Feige, fans can expect Miles’ transition to live-action soon after the release of the third installment of the ‘Spider-Verse’ series, which is scheduled for 2027.
Miles Morales is set to appear in the upcoming ‘Spider-Verse 3,’ currently in production. “He’ll be in the third ‘Spider-Verse’, and I’m hoping that shortly after that, we can introduce him to the MCU in a live-action format,” Feige stated.
The ‘Spider-Verse’ films have been monumental successes, both critically and at the box office.
The 2018 and 2023 releases depict the story of Miles becoming Spider-Man in his universe while meeting other Spider-People from different dimensions, including Gwen Stacy, voiced by Hailee Steinfeld, and Peter Parker, voiced by Jake Johnson.
Collectively, the films have grossed over $1 billion worldwide. The first movie even snagged an Oscar for Best Animated Feature Film.
