Samuel L. Jackson is one of the most famous actors of his generation. Even in his 70s, he continues to act in many movies and has worked with famous directors and actors like M. Night Shyamalan, Martin Scorsese, Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Spike Lee, and Quentin Tarantino.

For many fans, one of his most important roles is Mace Windu, one of the strongest and coolest Jedi masters ever.

Samuel L. Jackson often talks about his role in Star Wars and has hinted that he’d love to return. If you’re hoping to see him back as Mace Windu, you might be in luck.

A popular industry insider, MyTimeToShineHello, recently shared a rumor that Jackson is in talks to return to Star Wars as Windu. This hasn’t been officially confirmed, and the insider’s past rumors have had mixed results. However, Jackson has said before that he believes Windu isn’t dead and even wants a solo series focused on the character.

It’s like, okay, Obi-Wan was dead when episode four started, so maybe everyone thinks I’m dead and we’ll find out what happened to Mace Windu, I can come back as one-armed or a one-handed Jedi that’s still around that didn’t actually die.

I could be a ghost hologram, I don’t care, I just want to stay associated with the franchise. Not that I won’t because I’ve been in three of them.

When asked if he’d want a solo Mace Windu series like Kenobi on Disney+, Samuel L. Jackson responded with “EVERYTHING YES!!” This isn’t the first time he’s suggested that Mace Windu might still be alive, and with how Star Wars is growing on Disney+, the idea of a solo series for the character seems more possible now, especially if we take these rumors into account.
