Popular Marvel Insider Reveals Positive Update on the Future of ‘Armor Wars’

As you know, Marvel Studios is currently working on a variety of projects, some of which are rumored and some of which are confirmed. While fans have a lot to look forward to, there are two projects whose fate is unclear, although everyone keeps reassuring us that both are still on track to be made.

The first is Blade, a project we have extensively written about, but Blade is not going to be the main topic of this report. In this report, we are going to talk about another project whose ultimate fate is very similar to that of Blade – the Armor Wars movie.

It was supposed to be a series, then a movie, and based on the latest rumors we had until today, the whole project was either canceled or delayed indefinitely. Now, though, a new set of rumors brings us a somewhat positive update on the project, and we are happy to share it with you!

First of all, we want to say that this is just a rumor, so take it with a grain of salt, but the source we are talking about is a very reliable one and he is generally correct with his theories and rumors, so this, definitely, gives the fans something to hope for.

The source we are talking about is Alex Perez, who regularly posts his rumors and information on the Cosmic Circus, and in his most recent Q&A he revealed the following:

SHADOWZ: Is Armor Wars cancelled?

Alex Perez: No. It really isn’t. I understand the skepticism with it, but much like Blade, Marvel Studios wants to get it right and wants to make sure it not only delivers a story worthy of one of the MCU’s longest running characters, but also fits in the current storyline of the MCU.

One of the things I love the most about it is that while RDJ is not really involved in this project at all, the legacy Tony Stark left behind will be put under a magnifying glass and examined from top to bottom, and how his choices left ripple effects to those around him. But I also would like to take this opportunity to let you know that there is an Armor Wars storyline set during the Secret Wars 2015 comic event. So who knows if they use that story as inspiration for the movie? 😉

This is definitely a positive update. And while it doesn’t really give us anything certain, it gives the fans something to hope for as the future of the projects seems to be more than positive, which is, basically, what everyone is hoping for.
