T.J. Miller was quietly taken out of the “Deadpool” movies after facing several sexual assault accusations, which he denied. However, these claims hurt his career and caused issues for Fox at the time.

On top of that, Miller had a public falling-out with Ryan Reynolds. He said Reynolds didn’t like him, treated him poorly on set, and let fame get to his head.

“As the character, he was, like, horrifically mean to me. But to me. As if I’m Weasel. He was like, ‘You know what’s great about you, Weasel? You’re not the star, but you do just enough exposition that it’s funny and then we can leave and get back to the real movie.’ (…) That’s exactly why he said that. Because I’m not funnier than he is at all, right? And I haven’t been in more movies than him. (…)

I think after he got super, super famous from the first Deadpool, then things kinda changed. I think he was like, ‘See? You guys see?’ (…) I would not have done ‘Deadpool 3’ if they came to me and were like, ‘We want you to do ‘Deadpool 3,’ and we’re going to pay you twice as much.’”

Miller also said that Reynolds seems insecure, doesn’t like it when others get laughs, and claimed some people call him “Crying Ryan.”

I think he’s kind of an insecure dude. He’s really nice but I mean his Twitter bio is “showing you the parts of me that Focus Tested the best in focus groups” and I’m not sure that he’s joking. I think that might actually be his real sentiment there. […] He’s worked so hard to get this movie made, and it’s people’s favorite movie. It’s “get a tattoo of it” level movie.

I think that maybe, there was some part of him that, that frustrated him. I can’t begin to guess what his deal is. […] I love it when people get laughs, you know I think it’s great when the two of you get laughs, no one else really on the show does…But you know, Ryan never does, and “crying Ryan” that’s what they used to call him.

Recently, T.J. Miller seems to have changed his mind about Ryan Reynolds and now wants to return for more “Deadpool” movies. During an interview on SiriusXM’s “The Bonfire,” Miller said he had recently talked to his former co-star.

Two years ago, on “The Adam Carolla Show,” Miller said he didn’t think Reynolds liked him and didn’t expect they’d work together again.

We talked a little while ago. I think he’s just been such a good friend right now that I think it would be really, I think [returning for ‘Deadpool 4’] would be awesome.

T.J. Miller played the bartender Weasel in the first two “Deadpool” movies, often sharing scenes with Ryan Reynolds. He had already finished filming “Deadpool 2” when he faced accusations of sexual assault in 2017.

The next year, after the movie was released, Miller was arrested for allegedly making a fake bomb threat on an Amtrak train, though the charges were later dropped. In 2018, he was accused of bullying his “Silicon Valley” co-star Alice Wetterlund, a claim he denied. Miller wasn’t asked to return as Weasel in “Deadpool & Wolverine.”

With his recent comments, it seems the dynamic between Miller and Reynolds might have changed. What do you think? Is Miller being serious, or does he really want another shot at “Deadpool”? Share your thoughts in the comments!
