The MCU’s upcoming X-Men reboot is one of the most exciting projects for fans. It will officially introduce the X-Men to the MCU, replacing the previous X-Men franchise from Fox.

Details about the movie are still limited, but the studio aims to balance humor and drama. They also plan to include mutants who haven’t been seen in live-action before.

We’ve learned that Michael Lesslie will write the script for the film. He’s known for writing The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, making him a great choice for the job.

Michael Lesslie reportedly suggested using the full X-Men ’97 roster for the team, but rumors say Wolverine won’t be included at first since Hugh Jackman will continue playing the role after Secret Wars.

If these rumors are true, the rebooted team might include Cyclops, Rogue, Storm, Beast, Gambit, Jubilee, Jean Grey, Professor X, Morph, Bishop, Magneto, Nightcrawler, and Sunspot.

Remember, these are just rumors and nothing has been officially confirmed. Recently, insider Daniel Richtman shared more rumors, including that the studio is looking for a director for the film. He also confirmed the movie will take place after Secret Wars, which many fans expected.

Secret Wars is expected to lead to a soft reboot of the MCU, where the studio will keep what’s working and get rid of what’s not. The next MCU saga is rumored to focus on mutants and magic.
